South Texas Fishing is a non-profit member run association. All money raised benefits the membership, there are no paid positions within the association. The Board of Directors, Tournament Directors, and all committee members are volunteers. South Texas Fishing was started with the purpose to coordinate and support fishing tournaments and foster fellowship among South Texas anglers. To promote the responsible use of our public waters, and help protect our right to enjoy our sport. To bring together people who enjoy the common sport of fishing.
Besides our tournaments, we look forward to setting up other events such as our Wounded Warriors day where members took some of Americas finest and their families fishing for a day, ending with a cookout. We will continue to look for opportunities such as this to give back to our community.
